With a diverse career spanning multiple industries, she has built a versatile skill set in production, advising, coordination, and management. Currently a leader in the creative industry, she is also the driving force behind DreamStill Technologies, a fashion-technology and events company focused on preventing and diverting textile waste.
Marcelle Moreira (Mars)
Director of SalesMarcelle Moreira dos Santos, also known as Mars, is a dreamer and visionary dedicated to environmental justice and circular-economy solutions. She is one of the founders of Dreamstill Technologies, a startup developing deep-tech and community-driven solutions to tackle textile waste. Mars also serves as a Regulatory Engagement Coordinator for Gitga’at First Nation, supporting complex regulatory processes and the preservation of Indigenous rights.
Her experience ranges from accounting farm-waste emissions and compost research to supporting inclusive employment and consumer-behaviour change. She was a lead organizer of the Ecorise Climate Action Festival in Metro Vancouver, a near-zero-waste event engaging youth-led climate solutions. Her work has been featured in the National Observer and on CBC Radio-Canada.
